The process is very easy, it just takes a couple of minutes to register thereafter you will be able to obtain instant quotes for a wide range of legal indemnity covers for residential and commercial risks.

Yes, this can be achieved so long as you give permission to your colleague(s) and you meet the registration criteria (See who can use CRM). Once initial registration is in place, by accessing the registration area of the site, new users can be added and information amended as appropriate.

To use the CRM online insurance system, you must be a:

  • Solicitor
  • Legal Executive
  • Licensed Conveyancer

Further, your firm must be authorized by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), registered (or in the process of being registered) on the FCA’s Exempt Professional Firms register, to undertake insurance mediation.

It takes just a few moments unless it is a complex risk, in such a scenario, an experienced underwriter will contact you to discuss the risk. Once s/he has all the necessary information, a quote will be issued.

You can still supply details through the CRM online system or make direct contact. Our experienced underwriters are fielding such enquiries on a daily basis and will be happy to use their skills to furnish you with a suitable solution. They will offer you the right cover to eliminate or manage your risk(s).

You can pay for each individual policy transaction or, for volume policy transactions, we are able to offer you a monthly billing facility. This is managed via a monthly statement issued to you at the beginning of each calendar month detailing the policies ordered and the premium due.

Payment should be made to CRM insurance within ten (10) working days from ordering each policy or in receipt of your monthly statement by cheque or electronic transfer (BACS) direct into our bank account.

It is important to note that CRM will honour the insurance purchased on the explicit understanding that payment will be made according to our payment terms. In the event that the insurance premium for any policy ordered is not paid in full within 30 days of the due date, CRM Insurance reserves the right to cancel the insurance.

Yes, a list of all your quotes and any policies you have ordered can be accessed by clicking ‘View my quotes’.
